The Vancouver Club - Gourmet Wine Dinner - Culinary Collaboration

Gourmet Wine Dinner - Culinary Collaboration

Tuesday, November 29th

Join us for an evening of expert culinary collaboration on November 29th when The Club will host some of the food industry’s leading figures. Our own Chef Sean Cousins will be cooking with award winning author Jennifer McLagan , for gourmet food industry leaders Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg.

What to Eat With What You Drink

Jennifer McLagan is a provocative Australian-born, Toronto-based chef and award winning author, who challenges us to rethink our relationships with what we eat. The Wall Street Journal has said that McLagan balances the “exotic but appetizing … with the downright bizarre”, in her crusade to teach us how to develop a taste for the whole animal, even its lesser known parts.

Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg are top tier leaders in the food industry. Page, an award winning journalist, and Dorenburg, a culinary master, have paired exceptional talent with visionary taste to author the food industry’s essential curriculum. The couple have been hailed as groundbreaking luminaries at the forefront of North America’s culinary revolution.

Needless to say, these figures are well respected and admired by food professionals the world over, and will bring a depth of knowledge and experience to The Club.

Cousins and McLagan will cook a menu inspired by her new book Odd Bits, and New York authors Page and Dornenburg will pair each course with wines inspired by their new book What to Drink with What You Eat. Expect an evening of gastronomic delights that won’t soon be forgotten.
