“Work is the curse of the drinking classes” – Oscar Wilde
You know you like beer. You know you like certain styles and flavours. But do you know why? Do you know the difference between a Lager and an Ale? A Porter and a Stout? Wort? Imperial? Fuggles? Lauter? Sparge? Do these words mean anything to you? Here is where you'll learn how to understand the brewing process and confidently describe differences in beer styles.
Join Matthew Dempsey and the Craft Beer Society to taste multiple brews and explore the art of beer tasting with the second of a beer education series this spring.
This spring let the Craft Beer Society guide your knowledge base with a series of 90-minute lessons, guiding members through the history of beer, how to taste and pair beer, and brewing science and styles. This year is all about education and exploration!
