include its Society,
Board of Directors, Management
and Property.
Use of The Vancouver Club name or
logo(s) without pre-approval from
The Vancouver Club, is prohibited.
Media attendance must be approved
by The Vancouver Club.
Suppliers must be approved
by The Vancouver Club.

Dress code is “smart casual”;
jeans, cargo pants and athletic wear
are not permitted at anytime.
Electronic devices;
cell phones, PDA’s and computers
are not permitted outside of your
reserved room(s).
The Convenor is responsible for the
personal conduct of and any
damages to the premises by the
Convenor, Guests and Suppliers
of your event.
The Vancouver Club assumes
no responsibility for any items
of the Convenor, Guests
and Suppliers for your event.
Photography, video and
audio recording outside your
reserved room(s) must be
approved by The Vancouver Club.
The Vancouver Club adheres to all
operating guidelines set forth by
BCLDB such as;
No food and beverage is to be
brought or taken from the premises.
*Pre-approved food exceptions may
be arranged.
Decorating plans of the
Convenor, guests and suppliers
must be pre-approved by
The Vancouver Club.
The fastening of any materials to
any surface of The Vancouver Club
is prohibited.
Confetti or similar materials are
not permitted inside or outside of
the property of The Vancouver Club.
Signage is only permitted inside
or at the entrance of reserved room
and is subject to the approval of
The Vancouver Club.
Convenor and suppliers will have access to booked rooms(s) 1 hour prior to scheduled start time. *Contact us for alternate arrangements, if required.
Shipments from the Convenor, guests and suppliers will not be accepted more than 1 business day prior to your event. *All packages are to be labelled and include; name of the event, Convenor name, date of event, Vancouver Club representative and total number of boxes.
Items of the Convenor, guests and suppliers must be removed immediately following the event. *Contact us for alternate arrangements, if required.
The Vancouver Club reserves the right to monitor, inspect and control the practices of the Convenor, guests and suppliers of your event.
The Vancouver Club reserves the right to control amplified sound volume levels of the Convenor, guests and suppliers of your event.
The Vancouver Club reserves the right to discontinue service due to improper conduct of the Convenor, guest or supplier of your event, which cannot be resolved to satisfaction of The Vancouver Club. *The Convenor will be liable for all items on the Catering Event Order and its full estimated beverage consumption.
Catering Details and signed Catering Event Order must be received 10 business days prior to event. This is to include:
Food selection (*Dietary substitutes may be made with prior notification).
Wine selection (*Special Requests require 14 business days and are subject to availability).
Room and Audio/Visual requirements.
Decor arrangements (some arrangements require more notice, please inquire).
Guest Attendance Guarantee must be received 3 business days prior to the event and confirmed by email or fax by The Vancouver Club.
If any guest attending your event has food and beverage allergies: the Convenor shall provide The Vancouver Club with written details in of the nature of the allergy, names of guests and their seat location.

Event Room, A/V Equipment, Contracted Services, Service Fee:

The Vancouver Club does not charge labour fees (separate from service fees) except in the following instances:
Cashier (required for Cash Bar)
Coat Attendant
Statutory Holiday Labour Fees
Requested Additional Labour
Event Cancellation Policy will be provided with your Catering Agreement.
The Vancouver Club is pleased to receive and assist in the handling of light packages.
The Vancouver Club assumes no responsibility for any items of the Convenor, guests and suppliers of your event.
Deliveries will only be accepted at the Cordova St. entrance (no street address), located via the first laneway on your right, travelling east on Cordova from Burrard.
*There is a discreet ‘Vancouver Club’ sign located at the rear of the building.
