VC Fish & Game Club: Fishing Trips 2023

The Vancouver Club enjoys a rich history of connecting with British Columbia's natural wonders and wildlife through the tradition of fishing and hunting together. VC's new Fish & Game Club gathers to learn more about local ecosystems, wildlife, conservation, outdoor first aid and survival, foraging, and harvesting.

The Club is seeking expressions of interest in three local fishing excursions, curated just for Vancouver Club members and their guests. For assistance with further inquiries or to express your interest, please contact Eli Cassidy at eli@vancouverclub.ca

Your 6-hour sturgeon adventure starts right on the Lower Fraser River, departing from Vancouver Marina in Richmond. Within minutes of leaving the dock, you will find yourself fishing for these living dinosaurs while experiencing the Fraser River like never before. Fish for the largest freshwater fish in North America while being surrounded by the historical, working and natural sites of the Fraser River.

7:30 am Meet at Vancouver Marina in Richmond

8:00 am Boat Launch

600 per person Includes a guided fishing excursion, all necessary gear/tackle & packed lunch

Dress Code: Dress for the weather (hat/sunglasses/sunscreen or rain jacket)

This freshwater fly fishing excursion gives you a taste of the most scenic and diverse fishing BC has to offer. Enjoy a full day in the beautiful Squamish Valley as you explore the Squamish River and its tributaries. Late October is peak time for coho salmon and you will also see large numbers of chum salmon in the system as well as bull trout, rainbow trout and cutthroat trout feeding on salmon eggs.

Full-Day Trip (approximately 8 hours)

6:30 am Meet in Squamish 7:00 am Boat Launch Meeting and launch times are approximate and will be confirmed upon reservation.

650 per person Includes a guided fishing excursion with casting instruction, all necessary gear/tackle & packed lunch

Dress Code: Please bring a waterproof or water-resistant jacket that has sufficient insulation for the day's weather conditions. Waders, boots, rods/reels will be provided (your sizing will be requested).

• Reservations, once confirmed, are final and non-refundable.
